Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore is a funny, family 3D movie with laughs for the whole family all the way through. This sequel of the 2001 Cats and Dogs is about Kitty Galore (voice of Bette Midler), an ex elite agent of the feline agency, MEOWS. When Kitty was an agent she had a tragic accident with some hair removal cream. Since then she has been planning her revenge on humans. She plans to destroy the dogs by means of releasing the call of the wild. In order to stop this crazy cat, cats and dogs team together to save the dogs and the humans of the world.
The dogs at DOG Headquarters work to stop a world crisis
The 3D special effects in Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore is incredible and is a blend of live action, state-of-the-art puppetry and computer animation. The computer animation matching the actors with the animal mouths is great. At the very beginning, the intro of the film is almost identical to a James Bond movie, only with dogs – and the fur flies.
Shane & Diggs
The characters in this movie are terrific. Diggs and Butch are partners in DOG Headquarters (HQ). Diggs (voice of James Marsden), a German Shepherd former S.F.P.D. K-9 police dog, is an agent who rarely listened to anyone or followed orders; so he was put in the kennel multiple times. Chris O’Donnell plays Shane, Diggs’ human partner on the police force. Butch (voice of Nick Nolte) is one of the top agents from the dog spy agency. Lou, a very funny Beagle (voice of Neil Patrick Harris), is the head of DOG HQ.
Ted and Lou
Catherine (voice of Christina Applegate), is a nice cat agent from MEOWS. She helps Diggs and Butch in their quest to bring down Kitty Galore. On her team is Seamus (voice of Katt Williams), a little pigeon that has a small brain and a big mouth.
Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore is excellent for families. Be sure to stay through the end credits to watch adorable clips of cats and dogs.
